The Gospel is the power of God to make the Word act what It says It'll do
How many knows what the Gospel is? Not the "Word." Paul said, "The Gospel come to us not in word only, but through the power and manifestation of the Holy Ghost." The Gospel is the power of God to make the Word act what It says It'll do. Preach the Gospel all the world. Preach the Gospel to just the white people or just the brown, yellow, black? "To every creature." Amen.
Every creature: you believe that means that? I seen God baffle a bull one day. I seen Him cause hornets not to sting. I seen Him raise up a opossum that'd been laying dead all night. Every creature-- The Gospel will take effect upon anything that you ask. You say, "That's wrong, Brother Branham." It isn't wrong.

A man's not judged by how many muscles he's got; that's beast
I like to see a man a man. A man's not judged by how many muscles he's got; that's beast. A man's not judged by the brawny muscles, but he's judged by the bags in the knees of his pants where he's been praying. That's what takes a man.

It's those crucial hours that press us on to those sacred sands
It's those crucial hours that press us on to those sacred sands. It was in the Bible. And remember, no matter how great the distress is, Satan cannot take your life until God has finished with you. There is nothing can happen to you unless God permits it. There is no evil can come unless God permits it. And it's for your good He's working that.
Let's think, there when the floods came to destroy the world, it could not destroy Noah. Noah could not be destroyed, because that God had a work for him to do.

You know the Holy Spirit feeds on the Word of God, and it's good for you to read
Now, listen close to the reading of the Word; for His Word won't fail; mine will; His won't. So if you get no more than just the reading of the Word--
How many reads the Word daily? Let's see your hands. Oh, that's wonderful.
Just start right in and make a habit of reading a chapter every night before you go to bed, and a chapter every morning just as you get up. And oh, it just don't take no time till you just-- You know the Holy Spirit feeds on the Word of God, and it's good for you to read.

No matter what anybody's done
Now, surely, after all these years on the field and around the world, and seeing different people, I ought to know a little bit about the gate to enter in at.
And if you want to get somewhere with God, never let an arrogant spirit ever come around you. Don't let no malice come in. No matter what anybody's done, if they are wrong, don't you never build up a complex against that person. See? You be sweet and kind. Remember, God loved you when you were in sin. And if the Spirit of God's in you, you love the other person when he's in wrong. See? Just pray for them and love one another.
Above everything, love God and love one another. And be humble with God and around one another, and God will bless it, and it's hard telling what He will do. Usually when a church begins to get in numbers and get to getting a little bigger, or something like that, then they get away from that real thing, the real thing.

Love one another
So Paul said it was possible for him to do those things without having the Giver, "Thou I speak with tongues as men and angels, and have not charity, it profit me nothing." See, see? All right. Now, love one another. Above everything that you do, love one another. And as you love one another, you'll love God. See? You love each other and you'll love God. For God is love. And a man that walks in love, walks in life. And perfect love casteth out all fear. Then if you can take Him at His Word, and not fear a bit about it. Say, "Lord, I love You; I know You're going to answer because You promised me You would, and I just know You're going to do it." See? And it takes away all fear.

Right mental attitude toward any Divine promise of God
And may I go on record just now saying this: That I believe that the right mental attitude toward any Divine promise of God will bring it to pass. If you can take the right attitude toward that promise-- For the promise is a seed. A seed goes into the ground, and if it's a germitized seed--got life in it--it'll bring forth its kind, if it's put in the proper place. If a seed is put into the ground--
And Jesus said "The Word of God was a Seed a man sowed." He was the Man that sowed it.
And then, if the Word of God is the Seed, and the Seed's put in proper condition, in a heart full of faith, it'll make every promise live, bring forth what it promised.

Revival - 4 things
Now, we're trying to place the revival just in the best setting that we can. We do not, what we call, major on Divine healing, because Divine healing is a minor. And you cannot major on a minor; we know that.
So the great thing that we're after for any revival, is to bring lost souls to Christ first; revive the church back into a spiritual condition, to where it should be, close communion with God; bring fellowship among the churches, third; and fourth, pray for the sick.
That's our aim, our try, is sinners first, fellowship…with the churches, and a close walk with the church to God, and then pray for the sick.

Man's not measured by his muscles
I've seen man that weighed two hundred pound and muscles like iron, and didn't have a ounce of man in them. That's right. Man's not measured by his muscles, but by the bags in the knees of his pants where he's been praying. That's the way…Man is not measured by muscle; he's measured by character. There never was a greater Man than Jesus Christ. That's right. And He was measured by character, not by statue.

Old-time religion will do for you
I tell you what this old-time religion will do for you, it'll make a gingham skirt and a silk skirt put their arms around one another and call them "Sister." It'll do that. It'll make a tuxedo hug a pair of overalls and holler, "Brother, I love you." That's what it'll do. It'll take the starch away from you. Yes.
